Passenger traffic of the airport grew by a quarter
For two months of 2018, Tolmachevo Airport served 760,785 passengers, which is 25% more than last year. The number of passengers on domestic flights was 508,612 (+27%), on international flights – 252,173 (+21.6%).

In February, the passenger traffic of Tolmachevo Airport increased by 27% as compared with 2017 and amounted to 364,802 people. Domestic flights served 245,682 passengers (+30%), on international flights – 119,120 (+ 22%).

The most dynamic destinations for February on domestic routes were Krasnoyarsk (+218.8%), Talakan (+143.7%), Tomsk (+124%) Chelyabinsk (+108%), Blagoveshchensk (+101%), Surgut (+92,7%), Novy Urengoy (+84.9%), Khanty-Mansiysk (79%), Neryungri (71%). At the international level, Dubai (+215%), Phuket (+163%), Seoul (108.7%), Yerevan (+85.7%), Astana (+73%).
The number of transfer passengers in the airport increased by 46% in the first two months compared to the same period of last year. Their share in total passenger flow was 20%.

In January and February, the airport serviced 3,916 aircraft movements (+18.7% compared to the same period last year), in February – 1,879 movements (+19.8%).
In January and February 2018, the cargo traffic amounted to 4,237 tons (+15.7%), including in February – 2,182 tons of cargo and mail (+10%).
NOVOSIBIRSK International Airport (Tolmachevo) is the largest air hub in Russia east of the Urals on major transit routes between Europe and Asia. The capacity of domestic terminal makes up to 1,800 passengers per hour, while the international terminal capacity – up to 1300 passengers per hour. The airport has two runways of ICAO I and II Categories.
